As soon as I saw sneak peek photos of the new MAC concealerI KNEW I had to try it. This old-school concealer from MAC is still one of my favorites so I had high hopes for this new release. I was lucky enough to receive all 33 SHADES as a press sample from MAC. So, I wanted to share swatches of the new MAC concealer (officially named the Studio Fix 24-Hour Smooth Wear Concealer) in the hopes that I can help you find your perfect match.

If you are new to MAC concealers, their shades are labeled either NC (neutral-cool) or NW (neutral-warm). It is actually a little confusing; NW shades are for those of you with cool, pink undertones. NC shades are for those of you with warm, yellow undertones.
- NC (neutral-cool) – for WARM undertones
- NW (neutral-warm) – for COOL undertones
On my wedding day, my professional makeup artist (who worked at MAC) officially matched me to NW25 (which makes sense as I have cool undertones).

Every since I heard the news that the MAC Studio Fix Concealer was being released, I was ready. The studio fix line products are apart of my Holy Grail items that I can not live without. See them HERE and HERE. Add in a concealer I was beyond excited and had very high expectations. I am hear to tell you my expectations have been met and then some. Lets dive right into this amazing concealer.

There have been a lot of mixed reviews on this concealer because so many people want super full coverage with a matte finish. This is not TAPE SHAPE I repeat this is not TAPE SHAPE and I could not be happier. For all of those that want a full coverage look there are just as many of us that don't like that look at all or just want a good everyday concealer. Please remember that when watching Youtubers. Also many are young and this concealer works wonders under my 37 year old mom eyes. lol I prefer my skin to look like skin with my makeup on. I want to look like myself but better. Less tired and uneven lol If you want full coverage and matte then please try the Pro Longwear Concealer, its fantastic!!! The MAC studio fix concealer is creamy and blends like butter and covers just enough to make you look fabulous! This concealer and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer are by far my top two concealers of all time. Concealer is so personal, its a preference. From coverage, to shades and finishes it truly depends on the persons needs and wants.
I use to be matched as NC 20 but having the full range of MAC studio fix concealers in my hands I now know I prefer it to blend in and go with NW 25. NC 20 is just too bright for me now and I do not like the way it makes me look. I prefer my concealer to blend seamlessly into my skin tone, be creamy, natural looking with decent coverage and this concealer matches all of my criteria.
